CleanSpot, a local start-up developing products for the healthcare market, announced that it has raised additional seed funding for its first product launch, ActiveClean, a palm-sized, spray hand sanitizer. The sanitizer uses natural ingredients and a natural beeswax coating that provides not just immediate, but long-lasting protection against bacteria. The main ingredient is ethanol, which kills the bacteria, and beeswax, which adds a moisturizing and protective quality to the formula. Other ingredients include peppermint, citrus, apricot seed oil and vitamin E.
