STC Board Chair Sandra Begay-Campbell Featured in NPR Piece

Albuquerque, NM – April 22, 2015 National Public Radio (NPR) ran a piece, entitled “Solar Power Makes Electricity More Accessible on Navajo Reservation,” yesterday, April 21, on the difficulties in bringing electricity to the Navajo Nation reservation. STC Board Chair Sandra Begay-Campbell is featured in the article. Ms. Begay-Campbell is a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories and heads Sandia’s technical efforts in the Renewable Energy Program to assist Native American tribes with renewable energy development.
