2018 Statewide Economic Impact of the University of New Mexico
Join us for a news conference where UNM President Garnett Stokes will announce the results of the 2018 statewide economic impact of the
University of New Mexico. This study was commissioned by STC.UNM and made possible by support from the New Mexico Gas Company, an Emera Company.
The new study is the first of its kind to quantify the economic contributions of the entire University of New Mexico system—comprised of main
campus, health sciences campus (medical school, cancer center, hospitals, medical group), and four branch campuses. The study also includes the
impact on economic productivity of UNM alumni.
The news conference will be held at the Lobo Rainforest Building, 101 Broadway Blvd. NE, 87102. Please see map for parking.
